spring break and suicidal?

we're moving on into psych but i still can't find my way through neuro. keep trying girl.

depression. suicidal. bipolar etc favourite words of the week. yayy how exciting! *sarcastically*

i'd like to share this. last wednesday afternoon, we had a lecture about suicidal prevention. find a person to share problems, see counsellor etc yada yada yada....and the doctor also showed us some figures and charts on number of suicide cases, comparing between man and woman, based on different range of age...yeah yeah and thats not the point that i wanted to share. don't remember the doctor's name, but he said, religion somehow related to number of suicide cases. he, with a hesitation, tried to give an example by saying "...in some Muslim countries, the suicide rate is so low...but i don't understand why is it so.." oh well, funny hey? i wish someone could have raised their hand and respond to the statement, or may be i should've raise my hand... but no one did, including me...and the lecture continued until 2pm.

know what, i find learning psych is bit depressing...maybe because as you go on and try to learn about emotions etc, you, somehow, sort of assessing yourself, whether or not you have symptoms and try to diagnose and relate yourself to whatever type of mental disorders that may exist in this world..... or maybe i'm the only one doing that. 100% sane, and guaranteed!
